These Terms & Conditions govern your use of our website, online store, and social media platforms, as well as your purchase of our candles, reed diffusers, room sprays, and any other related products. Please read them carefully before placing any order.

2. Website Content and Photography

All content across our website, social media accounts, promotional materials, and emails—including, but not limited to, text, images, product designs, trademarks, branding, and logos—is protected by UK copyright and intellectual property laws.

  • You may not copy, modify, reproduce, distribute, or use any of our content without prior written permission.

  • You may not replicate, imitate, or reproduce our products, branding, packaging, fragrance blends, or stylistic presentation.

  • Any unauthorised use of our intellectual property may result in legal action.

3. Products & Safety Information

All Amanda Yvette products are hand-crafted with high-quality materials. For safety reasons:

  • Always follow the safety instructions provided with each product (including CLP labels).

  • Candles must be burned according to the care guidelines to prevent fire hazards.

  • Reed diffusers and room sprays should be kept away from children, pets, and heat sources. We accept no liability for damage or injury resulting from improper use of our products.

4. Orders

  • When you place an order, you will receive an email confirmation detailing your chosen products.

  • Due to the craftsmanship and curing time required for some products (such as candles), production and packaging may take up to 5 working days.

  • Delivery can take an additional up to 5 working days, depending on the shipping method selected.

  • A dispatch confirmation email will be sent when your order has shipped, including tracking details where applicable.

  • We reserve the right to decline or cancel an order for any reason. If payment has been taken, a full refund will be issued.

5. Shipping & Delivery

  • Customers are responsible for ensuring all delivery details are correct. We cannot accept responsibility for delays or losses caused by incorrect information.

  • We use a range of delivery providers. Within the UK, Parcel Force is commonly used.

  • All orders requiring shipping must be fully paid prior to dispatch. Orders with unpaid or partially paid shipping may be cancelled.

  • For international orders, we will select the most cost‑effective and reliable carrier. While we may discuss options with you, the final choice rests with Amanda Yvette.

  • Any customs fees, import duties, or taxes are the responsibility of the customer.

6. Payment

Payment is required at the time of purchase.

  • We accept major debit and credit cards, and other payment methods as listed at checkout.

  • All transactions are processed securely.

  • Prices may be updated without notice; however, you will always be charged the price displayed at the time of ordering.

7. Returns, Refunds & Exchanges

Due to the nature of our products being hand-crafted:

  • We can only accept returns for unused, unopened products in their original packaging.

  • You must notify us of any return request within 14 days of receiving your order.

  • Refunds will be issued once the returned items have been received and inspected.

  • Shipping fees for returns are the responsibility of the customer unless the item is faulty.

We do not accept returns for:

  • Used candles, diffusers, or room sprays

  • Custom or personalised items

  • Items damaged through misuse or neglect

8. Damaged Deliveries

Every product is inspected and packaged with care before dispatch. In the unlikely event that your order arrives damaged:

  1. Contact us immediately upon receipt.

  2. Provide photographs of the damaged items and packaging so we can arrange a replacement quickly.

  3. If photographs cannot be provided, items must be returned in their original packaging for inspection.

We may request that damaged items be returned to help us improve our packaging processes.

9. Cancellations

  • Orders may be cancelled within 12 hours of being placed, provided they have not entered production.

  • Once production begins, we cannot guarantee cancellation.

10. Liability

Amanda Yvette is not liable for:

  • Losses caused by incorrect handling or misuse of products

  • Failure to follow safety instructions

  • Delays due to courier services or events beyond our control (weather, strikes, customs delays, etc.)

Our total liability shall not exceed the value of the order placed.

11. Privacy & Data Protection

We are committed to protecting your personal data. Information collected during ordering or newsletter signup will be handled in accordance with UK GDPR regulations.

  • Your information will never be sold or shared with third parties for marketing purposes.
